Major Xbox Outage Disrupts Gaming

On Tuesday, millions of Xbox users experienced a widespread service outage that prevented them from accessing online games, digital purchases, and cloud gaming features. The outage, which lasted approximately 6 hours, was caused by a technical issue with the authentication servers.

Xbox CTO, Sarah Johnson, issued a statement: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our team worked around the clock to restore services, and we are implementing additional measures to prevent future occurrences."

As compensation, Microsoft is offering all affected users a free 3-day Game Pass subscription extension.
